Directions:
The Lake Monroe (Southwest) launch site is on the lake side of 17-92 in a brush area lining the lake.
From I-4, take the Sanford exit to 17-92. After passing the zoo on the right side of the road, watch your odometer for one mile to pass, then park on the left side of the road, next to the lake.
From French Avenue in Sanford, continue north until it turns into 17-92 lakeside. Start watching your odometer after you turn onto 17-92. Once you get 1.6 miles down the road from French Avenue, park on the right side of the road, next to the lake.
As you arrive, you should see the canoe trailer parked next to the lake. If you arrive early, please be patient and we will be there shortly. We plan to be at the launch site before 3PM.
